Just watched Species 2 for the first time tonight. It’s not the best sci-fi in the world but it’s probably got one of the highest boob counts in sci-fi for sure!

If you’re reading this at the moment it was posted, I’m just diving into her majesty’s chariot to go to the York stone carving festival. As with other stone carving festivals I may have mentioned in the past (possibly not on this blog though) its an even for stonemasons from all corners of the globe to compete in a friendly competition. Nothing’s usually at stake as its all for charity but bragging rights are always a good goal!
Each of the masons is given a stone to carve over two days into something that can be auctioned off for charity. I’ll try and get some photos so you can see the kind of things that they do. The standard of the carvings is truly amazing, I’ve never failed to be impressed with the kinds of things these guys and girls can achieve is such a short time.

I just thought it was only fair to dive on here and let you know that I’m still alive, have stopped biting my fingernails, have discovered I don’t know how to cut fingernails and have been busy as a loony at work!

No, that’s not a typo. Her majesty and I were looking through various websites this morning as we’re thinking about possibly maybe moving to a bigger place.
How inaccurate can you get websites to be? You ring up to ask for a viewing of property X only to be told that it was let “ages ago”. Update your website to let people know then!
My personal favourite was the place we’ve driven past with a To Let sign blatantly out front, a listing on two, yes two websites and you call the agent, its gone. REALLY? Really really?
Looks like they just leave them listed to inflate the number of properties they seem to be offering?
Rant over, I’d just love to see any other kind of company do business like that. Amazon, ebay? Here’s your new business model!
